Thai Takasago Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Takasago Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd., providing comprehensive air conditioning system engineering services using advanced technologies, from planning and design to construction and maintenance of buildings, factories, and various facilities. The company often needs to monitor equipment operating data as well as airflow conditions.
MAT has extensive experience in developing IoT systems using PTC ThingWorx in Thailand. To date, MAT has delivered IoT solutions to customers in industries including automotive component manufacturing and electronic component manufacturing.
Through the development of the LOMA system for Thai Takasago Co., Ltd., users can easily visualize the operating status of air conditioning systems and temperature changes in different areas of a room. In other words, airflow can be visualized and verified through data.

LOMA: Visualizing airflow through real-time data
A key challenge in developing the LOMA system was making it easier for users to understand the status of air conditioning systems and environmental conditions within different areas.
At first glance, monitoring temperature and humidity may seem like a standard monitoring system. However, in large spaces divided into multiple zones with precise environmental controls, data collected from different points can provide a much deeper understanding of system performance than simply looking at the temperature at a single location.
This is where IoT and Visualization play an important role. Instead of relying solely on explanations, the system collects data from sensors and various devices and displays changes in temperature, equipment operating status, and other environmental information for each area. Users can then use this data to better understand the system and verify its operating conditions. ThingWorx supports data connectivity from various devices and systems, as well as the use of collected data to create applications and dashboards.
When these components work together, data from the field can be transferred to a central system and presented in a structured format, allowing users to monitor the information more effectively.
